Unusually for a night during NATIONAL MOTH NIGHT(S) weekend I actually caught quite a few moths, but true to form it was wet and I had a lot of drying out to do. Another warmish night with a minimum temperature of 15.8 deg C, humid and as I said rather damp brought 510 moths of 86 species, 28 of them micros. There was one new micro for the site and altogether ten new species for the year. There seems to have been a bit of an influz of European Corn Borers, I've never before caught double figures in one night.
