Species List for 25/08/2026

 My Four traps, a 125W Robinson in the Back Garden, a 125W MV Robinson in the Pond Garden, a 15W Actinic in the Front Garden, and a 80W MV Skinner in the Greenhouse Garde, plus a portable Actinic trap  on loan from Sam Perfect. A warmer, damp night, with a minimum temp of 16 deg CC. The wind was around 10 mph SE. There were 372 moths of 72 species with two NFY. The Convolvulus Hawk-moth was the sixth of the year and the Striped the 14th.

 My Four traps, a 125W Robinson in the Back Garden, a 125W MV Robinson in the Pond Garden, a 15W Actinic in the Front Garden, and a 80W MV Skinner in the Greenhouse Garde, plus a portable Actinic trap  on loan from Sam Perfect. The night temperature dropped to around 16 deg C, but the wind was E-NE at about 16-24 mph, which has a major affect on the catch, particularly in the Back Garden Robinson. There were 255 moths of 47 species.
