Three Traps, a 125W MV Robinson in the Back Garden, a 125W MV Robinson in the Pond Garden and a 15W Actinic in the Front Garden. Following an exceptionally fine warm day and a warm night, I was hoping for more. Perhaps the clear sky was not helpful. There were 44 moths of eight species.

Three Traps, a 125W MV Robinson in the Back Garden, a 125W MV Robinson in the Pond Garden and a 15W Actinic in the Front Garden. A warm night with it remaining at 11 deg C up to 0200 hrs  before dipping to 8 deg C by dawn at 0600 hrs.  There were 56 moths of ten species with three NFY.

 After the storm that shut me down yesterday, with wind gusts over 56 mph,  it was normal business with three Traps, a 125W Robinson in the Back Garden, a 125W MV Robinson in the Pond Garden and a 15W Actinic in the Front Garden. There were 22 moths of five species.

Overnight temperatures dropped to 6 deg C. Three traps and the front garden Actinic held three Hebrew Characters, joining the list. There were 22 moths of five species, with one NFY.

 The temperature dropped a bit with a min of 6 deg C. I added to the traps, with the 15W Actinic added to the front garden, but it remained mothless on its first outing of the year. The Pond Garden Robinson had a 125W MV Bulb. There were just seven moths of three species.

 A coolish day, with quite thick fog until noon and then mist returning i  the evening, gave little hope of many moths. Even so for early March it wasn't bad, with 19 moths of six species.
