Species List for 10/09/2026

 Four traps, a 125W Robinson in the Back Garden, a 125W MV Robinson in the Pond Garden, a 15W Actinic in the Front Garden, and a 80W MV Skinner in the Greenhouse Garden. The WSW wind picked up  over night for a while to 15-19 mph, but the temperature  dropped to about 16 deg C,  warmer than the previous few nights. There were 399 moths (including 193 Large Yellow-underwings) of 46 species and one NFY, a Pinion-streaked Snout, the 6th here. The Convolvulus Hawk-moth was the 8th of the year.

 Four traps, a 125W Robinson in the Back Garden, a 125W MV Robinson in the Pond Garden, a 15W Actinic in the Front Garden, and a 80W MV Skinner in the Greenhouse Garden. The wind was around 10-12 mph through the night and the temperature dropped  to 10 deg C. There were 269 moths of 34 species with three NFY. The Porters Rustic was the 5th here after two in 2023 and two in 2024. The White-speck was the 7th here, (On Scilly it has been common).

The wind was WSW 15-12 MPH. There were 500 moths of 51 species with two NFY. The Archers Dart was the 4th here and the Clifden Nonpareil the 7th.
