 Another poor night with seen moths of six species, although there was one NFY, a surprise Lychnis. This is the first April record of the species at this site and the earliest by 9 days.

 The temperaturedropedto about 6 deg C, and there were even fewer  moths,  with nine of five species, two of which were NFY. The Lunar Marbled Brown was the first since 2011.

 The cold N wind continues to keep the temperature down and so far I'm not seeing any major  numbers emerging. There were 14 moths of  10 species,with the very "furry" Pale Tussock new for the year.

 The wind dropped last night but was still a very chilly NE . I ran all five traps and fared a little better than the previous night with 23 moths of  15 species including 3 NFY, one of which was also NFS.
