Updated with two more from thr fridge!. A warm night, min temp 13.9 deg C. following a sunny day brought out a good few moths, many making debut appearances for the year. A total of 164 moths (so far), of 45 species, 12 micros and 33 macros with 13 new for the year. I still have a few micros in the fridge that I didn't have time to photograph and identify. I still haven't got an ID for yesterday's Tortix, so ideas welcome.I completely changed my two 80W traps today. I had fitted the ballasts, retrieved from old strip lights, into the traps, but these are very heavy and made carrying the traps awkward. As they are an odd shape, very long they didn't fit into most waterproof boxes I could find, but I located some on the web, a bit big but OK and now I have separated the control gear from the traps.
