Hopes were high with the weather looking good. It was justified when Henry found a moth high on the wall above the 3W LED trap, which he said looked very interesting. With the aid of a step-ladder and Jacks steady nerve it was potted and proved to be a very good catch, a Banded Nycteoline, the second for Scilly and the third (we believe) for the UK. In total 70 moths of 23 species., two Gems adding to the migrant list.
