A warmer night, and more promising conditions did bring a few more moths. There were 274 individuals of 40 species. At this time of year as well as hoping for migrants it's fun to watch the selection of autumn specials grow. So far of the sallows I've only had Centre-barred Sallow so I'm hoping the others will arrive soon. Lunar Underwings are leading the way and were the 3rd most common moth last night, but a long way behind the leading two.
