Species List for 07/08/2026

 My Four traps, a 125W Robinson in the Back Garden, a 125W MV Robinson in the Pond Garden, a 15W Actinic in the Front Garden, and a 80W MV Skinner in the Greenhouse Garden, plus a portable Actinic trap  on loan from Sam Perfect. A calm, but quite cool, mainly clear night. There were 383 moths of 73 species with one NFY. With three more, I think this is going to be a big one for Scarce Bordered Straws.

A strong breeze at the start of the night probably affected the number of species, although it dropped significantly by the morning. There were 295 moths of 58 species with one NFY, a Clouded Buff, the first here since 2006.
