 A windy, but still mild night. The number of moths was still high for end October, but down a long way compared to last niught. There were still a good number of migrants among the 64 moyj of 25 species.

Species List for 29/10/2022

Although I still haven't caught a Crimson Speckled here, I did see one yesterday when Nigel Jarman popped round with one he'd caught at Bockhill, on the cliff top near the monument. The warm southerlies didn't let me down as I had one new species for the site and two repeats from earlier in the week, a Purpled Marbled, Blair's Mocha and a Uresiphita gilvata. A close look at the photos show the latter two to be new moths. In total there were 152 moths of 33 species with one NFY.

 Still a very warm airstream produced 160 moths of 27 species. Notable were nine Scarce Bordered Straws. Still no Crimson Speckled, but I did see one when Nigel Jarman popped in with one he'd just found in the grass on the cliff top' It seem as many are being found out and about as trapped.
