Species List for 23/07/2021

Our mini heat wave is receding and as I collected my moth traps in a thunder storm wandered round the Channel and sporadic patches of rain kept me cool. The change in  weather  saw a reduction in the number of moths and the number of species. There were 239 moths of 58 species (plus a coupe of pugs and minors to id), with just one NFY.
