Just How bad was May for Mothing at the Hidden House. I ran two traps every night. The figures below show the results for the years 2007 to 2013. Not only was the total number of moths extremely low, but the diversity of species was even more worryingly low.

The number of moths caught was 30% of the average for the previous six years and the number of species caught just 27% of the average from those years.
