The first looks like a normal Chestnut to me, but the second is slightly odd, having a straight, not curved front edge to the forewing. I don't think it is a Red-headed or Dark Chestnut, but I'm not sure it is just a Chestnut.

Norman's Chestnuts
A friend sent me the two pictures below. he said "We have caught a few chestnut moths. These two I am not sure if they are just chestnut.They are chestnut size.Could either be dark or red headed."
The first looks like a normal Chestnut to me, but the second is slightly odd, having a straight, not curved front edge to the forewing. I don't think it is a Red-headed or Dark Chestnut, but I'm not sure it is just a Chestnut.
